1. The Right To Adult Marriage In Islam:

In Islam, marriage is a civil contract between a man and a woman and a religious obligation. According to Quran verses about marriage, the minimum age for marriage is puberty. However, this is subject to interpretation by Islamic jurists. Some believe that a person has reached puberty when they reach physical maturity, which usually occurs at age 15 for boys and 9 for girls. This is in line with the hadiths (sayings of the Prophet Muhammad) which state that a girl should not marry until she is physically mature and able to bear the responsibilities of marriage. Other jurists believe that a person has reached puberty when they reach the age of majority, which is 18 for both boys and girls.

Regardless of interpretation, it is clear that Islamic law limits the age at which a person can marry. This is to ensure that both parties are mature enough to understand the implications of such a serious commitment.
